bag limit 6. Limit may include no more than four mallards (no more than
two of which may be hens), two wood ducks, two redheads, one black duck,
three scaup, one pintail and three mottled ducks. The possession limit
is twice the daily bag limit.

Coots: Nov. 17-Dec. 20, 2001 and Dec. 26, 2001-Jan. 20, 2002, statewide,
bag limit 15. The possession limit is twice the daily bag limit.

Mergansers: Nov. 17-Dec. 20, 2001 and Dec. 26, 2001-Jan. 20, 2002,
statewide, bag limit 5. No more than one may be a hooded merganser. The
possession limit is twice the daily bag limit.

Bear (modern gun): Dec. 1-16, 2001, bear zones 5 and 5A only.

Deer (modern gun): Dec. 27-29, 2001 statewide except deer zones 4 and 5.

Deer (modern gun): Dec. 27-28, 2001 deer zones 4 and 5 only.

Canvasback: Jan. 1-20, 2002 and during special youth waterfowl hunt, bag
limit 1 (counts as part of the duck daily bag limit). The possession
limit is 2.

Canada goose: Jan. 9-Jan. 31, 2002, bag limit 2, possession limit 4.
Special Youth Waterfowl Hunt: Jan. 26-27, 2002. Youths 15 and younger
may hunt ducks, gees, coots and mergansers. Youths who have completed a
hunter education course must be accompanied by a mentor who is 18 years
or older. Youths who have not completed a hunter education course must
be accompanied by a mentor who is 21 years or older. Mentors may not
hunt ducks, coots or mergansers, but hunt other game in season. Shooting
hours and bag limits are the same as regular duck season.
