Located approximately 90 miles south of Branson, Missouri on highways 65 and 66 in the small town of Leslie, Arkansas, Killebrew House is a charming colonial-style two story home built by Arkansas state senator Greenhaw in 1907.
Downstairs accommodations include 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen, living room and a formal dining room. Upstairs accommodations include 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, along with a kitchen and living room. There are 2 comfortable porches on the front and back of the house. This 6 acre property joins 2 creeks, and has a walking trail to one of the creeks and facilities for horses.
The town of Leslie offers several antique shops, the Ozarks Heritage Arts Center including a theatre, museum, and an art gallery with monthly exhibits, a quilt shop, several antique stores, Serenity Farm Bakery, a pottery shop and an excellent cafe on Main Street within walking distance of the house.
Leslie is about 35 miles from the Ozark Folk Center in Mtn. View. Other attractions nearby are the Buffalo National River (the only national river in the U.S.,) Branson and Greers Ferry Lake.
